Columbus cruise ship

Updated 21/07/2020: It is with great sadness that we announce Cruise & Maritime Voyages have ceased trading.

Introducing Columbus, one of the newest additions to the Cruise & Maritime Voyages ever-expanding ocean fleet. Becoming flagship in 2017, after taking the reign from Magellan, she has transported guests across the globe on world cruises, promoting comfort and relaxation that won’t break the bank.

Offering her passengers an abundance of entertainment features, with an impressive three decked central Atrium contributing a fine selection of retail outlets, a fabulous three tired showing lounge that branches across two decks and a British themed Taverners Pub & Casino; you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to activities. Columbus is the perfect option for guests looking for a broad range of activities whilst also benefitting from the intimacy and comfort expected from a ship of her size.

Double cabin room

The Cabins

Although smaller than your typical cruise liner, Columbus doesn’t fall short when it comes to dreamy accommodation. With 755 air-conditioned cabins, all offering a tranquil place to rest your head after a busy day of exploring. The inside and outside cabins are equally as beautiful, but for that extra special finishing touch, the Junior Balcony Suite with a stunning ocean view and private balcony is the top choice for many. Comprised of a double bed, a sofa bed, storage space for personal belongings and a spacious bathroom above, you’re not going to find accommodation quite like this elsewhere.

Raffles Bar on the main deck

Dining experiences and what you can do on board

You’re going to be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining experiences. With 5 dining options across the liner, all offering something extra special, visit the Chef’s table for the finer tastes or enjoy a tipple or two at the Raffles Bar. Ramp things up in the evening and head to the Dome nightclub or Connexions Bar for a more upbeat vibe.

If you’re looking to enjoy some me-time on a sea day or of an evening, then head to the on-site Arts and Crafts room or enter the Library for a spot of reading. If keeping fit is more your thing, then the Gym or Wellness centre may be on your list of must-visit locations.
