I was called initially to cancel a holiday booked for Nov. 2019 which was to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We were going to Myanmar which had long been a dream for us. On hearing our disappointment, Shannon Crick, who called us pulled out all the stops to find an alternative which she did. We were unable to have the same dates, but are very pleased to be going. Not so happy about additional costs, but we have accepted this. Well done to Shannon

The customer service team were caring making sure that they understood what my request was and processing that request in a very effecient way. All though you cannot see them you get the feeling that it is service with a smile and no request is too much trouble. I woukd definatley and infact do recommend ROL

Whether you have never sailed with Fred. Olsen before and want to experience the benefits of a cruising on board a smaller, more intimate ocean-going ship, or are a regular guest looking for a short, relaxing break away from it all, this is the perfect getaway. Your invigorating getaway begins with a short overnight sail from Southampton to France, where you’ll wake up to views of gorgeous countryside as Braemar glides along the River Seine into Rouen. Once docked, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the quaint, narrow streets lined with charming half-timbered houses and take in the city’s smorgasbord of historic highlights and cultural delights at your leisure. Don’t miss the incredible Gothic-style Cathédrale de Notre Dame, the 14th century Gros Horloge and Place du Vieux Marché, where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake. Alternatively you might prefer to journey to Paris and see the world famous landmarks of the ‘City of Lights’ – including the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe – illuminated in all their glory on a romantic evening tour to the French capital. After an extended two night stay Braemar will depart Rouen in the early morning and head back along the beautiful River Seine en route to Honfleur. Be sure to take your place on deck as your ship negotiates the winding meanders of the river and enjoy unspoilt views of the gorgeous, lush-green French countryside and pretty communes dotted along the riverbanks. Once docked in Honfleur an overnight stay will afford you time to wander the café-lined 16th century cobbled streets, see St Catherine’s Church and take in the pretty fishing harbour. Or perhaps you would prefer to embark on an engrossing tour to the iconic Norman city of Bayeux. Here you can visit the William the Conqueror Centre and marvel at the world-famous Bayeux Tapestry.

Fred. Olsen Enjoyment Promise: The enjoyment promise excludes sailings of 4 nights or less. The promise only applies to bookings made for departures more than 12 weeks ahead; The Enjoyment Promise only applies to passengers who have contracted with FOCL. To evoke the Enjoyment Promise, you will need to inform Guest Relations within 48 hours of sailing. FOCL will arrange and pay for a flight and/or transport back to the UK. FOCL will refund the cruise cost only but will not refund other costs. Voyages of 28 nights or longer will require an interim deposit. A 15% deposit will need to be paid at the time of booking and then a remaining 15% will need to be paid at 180 days prior to sailing date.
