The people at your service
Greeted like a returning family member, you’ll be given smiles and welcomes by everyone aboard a Voyages To Antiquity cruise from the Captain to your cabin steward. Fluent in English and always serving with a smile, the ship's crew will win your hearts. It is this personal approach that guests will remember and value the most. Your cabin steward will have your stateroom refreshed before you realise you need it. From your waiter remembering how you take your tea or coffee to your favourite tipple at the bar, the officers and crew are dedicated to making your holiday a delightful experience.
Cabins & Suites
Your on board comfort is one of Voyages to Antiquity's prime concerns, that's why all cabins and suites have a bath and/or shower, flat-screen TV, safety deposit box, hair dryer and are fully air-conditioned. Most outside cabins have windows rather than portholes; while, balcony cabins offer additional comforts and conveniences like Molton Brown bathroom amenities, complimentary bottled water and robe and slippers. A good night's sleep is important, irrespective of the cabin you choose: fine duvets, covers and sheets, ample soft pillows and quality towels can be expected.
Impeccable service - wonderful food
The gastronomic culture of using the very best fresh local ingredients cooked in a simple but delicious and healthy style is the inspiration for the restaurants on Aegean Odyssey. Dining arrangements are flexible as both restaurants have an open seating policy, with meal times arranged to suit the ship’s time in port and shore excursions programmes. Wine is included with dinner on board with a selection from Italy, France, Spain and Greece. Other vintages are available at reasonable prices.
The Marco Polo Restaurant
With a country-club ambience, the Marco Polo is the most elegant of the ship’s restaurants. Guests can choose from a variety of Mediterranean-influenced cuisine, from grilled fish and pasta to fresh soups and salads. At lunchtime, you can choose from a selection of starters and three mains plus a choice of desserts, fruit and cheese. Evening meals include appetisers and a choice of 3/4 main courses as well as dessert. Complimentary wine is also included with your dinner.
The Terrace Cafe & Grill
Replicating the charm and ambience of a trattoria, guests can enjoy a large buffet with hot dishes of the day in a combination of indoor and outdoor sophisticated seating. A selection of salads, Italian pastas and desserts are also on offer. The day starts in the Terrace Cafe with breakfast where you can enjoy a healthy combination of yogurt, fruit and cereals or indulge in bacon and eggs.
Afternoon tea and late night snacks
Each afternoon a selection of refreshing teas or coffee are available, accompanied by freshly-prepared sandwiches, cakes and scones. For those guests enjoying a late night, an array of light snacks will be available in the Charleston Lounge.
The very best excursions included
Shore excursions are included in almost every port, with a choice available to selected destinations. An important part of Voyages To Antiquity’s philosophy is ensuring that guests always see the most important sites and are escorted by the very best guides. For example, in Athens you will see the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum; when in Rome your tour will always include the Colosseum; St Peter’s Basilica is a must-see in Vatican City.
During your shore excursion, the expert guides will share their knowledge with the group using QuietVox. These devices allow you to hear your guide clearly via your individual headset even in the busiest of sites. Many departures feature pre- and/or post-cruise hotel stays providing the chance to explore a remarkable city - the perfect start or end to your last minute cruise.
