Everything you need to know about Future Cruise Credit

What is Future Cruise Credit?

Much like a voucher, Future Cruise Credit (FCC) has a monetary amount associated to it and is provided in lieu of a refund. Future Cruise Credit can be used towards the fare of a future cruise, though it varies for each cruise line.

How do I get Future Cruise Credit?

If your cruise has been cancelled, your cruise line may be offering you the value of your cruise towards a future departure. Simply call a member of our team to find out more.

How do I know the value of my Future Cruise Credit?

To find out the value of your Future Cruise Credit you can speak to one of our knowledgeable cruise consultants.

What can I use my Future Cruise Credit for?

Your Future Cruise Credit can be used towards a new cruise booking. Many cruise lines* are offering enhanced Future Cruise Credit, a perfect opportunity to upgrade your cabin, book a shore excursion, transfer to another person or put towards another booking. Treat yourself to the suite you have always dreamed of and make your next cruise one to remember!

What if the value of my Future Cruise Credit is more than the new cruise I am booking?

This depends on the cruise line, but most will allow you to transfer unspent credit onto another cruise.

Please note: if you have booked an exclusive ROL Cruise package the terms differ. The offer applies only to the cruise element of bookings where ROL Cruise is the tour operator.

What if I don’t know which voyage to use my Future Cruise Credit on?

If you don’t know which voyage to transfer to, one of our friendly cruise consultants is on hand to go through your options. Or, if you’d prefer, you can sign up to our marketing to receive personalised offers, exclusively for valued ROL Cruise customers. That way, you won’t miss out on booking your next cruise at an incredible price and with exclusive extras. Plus, as the number one partner for many major cruise lines, we sustain and develop relationships to ensure that we are providing you with the most current, exciting and unique cruise packages.

I would like to make a new booking but have not yet received my Future Cruise Credit. What do I do?

You can still make your next cruise booking even if you haven’t received your Future Cruise Credit yet. Though it may take a while for this to be applied to your booking. For more information, please contact one of our friendly cruise specialists who will assist you with the process and explain how your Future Cruise Credit will be applied to your new booking. Alternatively, you may request a call back and one of our advisors will contact you.

How can I apply my Future Cruise Credit?

Please call our reservations team and we can arrange this for you, alongside securing you a great cruise offer. And, when you use your Future Cruise Credit with ROL Cruise, you will benefit from double Cruise Miles, meaning you can save even more on future bookings.

Is my Future Cruise Credit transferable to a family member or friend?

This is dependent on each cruise line but some will allow you to give your Future Cruise Credit to a loved one.

Can I use my Future Cruise Credit on an existing booking?

This differs depending on the cruise line. Simply give us a call to find out more.

When does my Future Cruise Credit expire?

Every cruise line offers a different expiration date, so please check how much you have left to utilise your Future Cruise Credit. If you’d like, you can call us to find out your exact expiry date.

Will I receive a refund on any extras I’ve booked?

If you have booked shore excursions directly with your cruise line, they may refund you. Some cruise lines are also refunding port taxes. All refunds are dependent on cruise lines, call us to find out more.

*This varies by cruise line, please call us to find out exactly what you can use your Future Cruise Credit for.
