One of the great things about a cruise is that you don’t have to worry about luggage. Most cruise lines will let you take as much as you want, and they’ll take care of it every step of the way – collecting it at your port of embarkation and loading it into your stateroom ahead of you, then reversing the process when you disembark.
This means you don’t have to compromise when it comes to bringing all your favourite outfits. And let’s face it – you’re going to need them. Depending on the destinations you choose, your cruise could take you anywhere from balmy Caribbean islands or the sweltering South Pacific to the spectacular frozen scenery of Northern Europe or unspoilt Alaska. So you’re going to need an outfit for every eventuality – and you’ll want to dress to kill when you’re onboard. Whilst smart casual is generally the order of the day, most people choose to dress for dinner and many cruises include a black tie event or two.
As a result, most people set sail with a large amount of luggage – which can be a huge problem if you have to fly to your first port. Then of course, some travellers simply hate flying (and we think you’ll understand why, once you’ve experienced the space and luxury of a cruise liner).
For all these reasons, there’s nothing better than a cruise that starts and ends in the UK – and we have plenty to choose from. To make your life really easy, we can even organise your train tickets or help you arrange a taxi or chauffeured limousine to the docks. Because we believe that your holiday should start the moment you leave home.
