Oceania Cruises dress code changes - Modern. Refined. Clearly Defined.
Published on 02 Jul 2025
Oceania Cruises has recently announced changes to its existing dress code guidelines. The luxury cruise line has explained that these changes have been made to reflect the evolving preferences of today’s travellers. The updated dress code emphasises effortless sophistication, ensuring that it's upscale, comfortable, and modern, with a more precise outline of what is appropriate for different times of the day and venues. Oceania Cruises is passionate about ensuring that guests feel both stylish and at ease throughout the duration of their journey. The refreshed dress code will take effect for all voyages commencing on or after 1st September 2025:
Daytime attire:
The daytime dress code guidelines encourage guests to think of breezy and polished outfits. Sundresses, tailored shorts, polos, and lightweight chinos fit the brief perfectly. It’s important to remember that swimwear is reserved for the pool area only, and guests must wear a cover-up when heading from the pool area to dining areas.
Evening attire:
In the evenings, guests are advised to plan outfits that are refined yet relaxed. Ladies might opt for dresses, jumpsuits, elegant separates, fashionable jeans, and dressy sandals or trainers. Gentlemen are encouraged to choose collared shirts, knit tops, dressy jeans or trousers, loafers or smart trainers. Please note that shorts and t-shirts are reserved for the Terrace Café and Waves Grill during the evening.
