Oceania Cruises has unveiled an exciting new addition to its fleet with the introduction of Oceania Aurelia™, a beautifully reimagined ship designed specifically for extended, immersive journeys around the world. Set to debut in 2027, she will serve as the ideal home at sea for travellers embarking on longer voyages, including the line’s 2028 and 2029 Around the World sailings, as well as a collection of expansive Grand Voyages.
As part of the brand’s ongoing OceaniaNEXT™ programme, Oceania Aurelia represents a thoughtful evolution of the guest experience. Currently sailing as Oceania Nautica™, the ship will undergo a complete transformation to deliver a new level of comfort, space and sophistication. The design draws inspiration from the openness of Oceania’s newest ships and the inviting warmth of a boutique hotel, creating a more intimate, residential-style atmosphere particularly suited to extended travel.
Welcoming fewer than 500 guests and supported by approximately 400 crew members, the ship promises a highly personalised experience with attentive service and a strong sense of community. This close crew-to-guest ratio ensures that service remains unhurried and genuinely attentive, allowing guests to feel truly at home as they explore the world.
Accommodation on board has been carefully designed with longer voyages in mind. Of the ship’s 238 staterooms, 179 will be suites, many offering more than 300 square feet of space, with some extending up to 1,000 square feet. Guests will be able to choose from a range of beautifully refreshed and newly introduced suite categories, including Owner’s, Vista, and Penthouse Suites, alongside new Oceania Suites and Horizon Suites. A selection of Oceanview and Inside Suites will also be available, ensuring flexibility for a variety of travellers. Each accommodation has been thoughtfully designed to feel like a private residence, with generous living areas and refined finishes, while butler service in select suites adds an additional layer of comfort.

Dining remains at the heart of the experience, in keeping with Oceania Cruises’ reputation for offering The Finest Cuisine at Sea®. Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of much-loved venues, including The Grand Dining Room, Polo Grill, Toscana, Terrace Café, Waves Grill and the evening Pizzeria, with menus reflecting the destinations visited along the way. The popular coffee venue, Baristas, will also be relocated to Horizons and enhanced with the addition of a bakery serving fresh pastries and European specialities, alongside a new crêperie offering freshly made crêpes, waffles and indulgent gelato sundaes.
Across the ship, a collection of bars and lounges will provide inviting spaces to relax and socialise, including the introduction of the new Founders Bar, where guests can enjoy carefully crafted cocktails and mixology experiences.
For those spending extended time at sea, a wide range of enrichment opportunities will be available to enhance the journey. These include the new Chef’s Studio, where guests can take part in hands-on culinary workshops, as well as the Artist Loft, offering a creative space to unwind. The LYNC Digital Center will provide interactive classes and learning experiences, while guest speakers will deliver engaging talks on a variety of topics. In addition, all guests will benefit from unlimited access to the Aquamar Spa Terrace for the first time, offering a tranquil setting to relax and recharge.
