Saga Cruises has released details of its brand-new summer cruises. Spirit of Adventure and Spirit of Discovery will be sailing around the British Isles this June and July. The cruise line has been working hard over the last few months to put these exciting new itineraries together, which include some unusual and less-visited parts of the UK.
Spirit of Adventure
We’ve handpicked one of Spirit of Adventure’s itineraries. Departing 26th July from Newcastle, Spirit of Adventure’s inaugural cruise will sail to a host of iconic Scottish destinations including historic Edinburgh, the lochs and mountains of the Highlands and the remote Orkney Islands. You’ll also discover Belfast, the unspoilt Isle of Man and Holyhead, the largest town on the Welsh Isle of Anglesey and the great port city of Bristol.
Spirit of Discovery
We’ve chosen one of Spirit of Discovery’s exclusive sailings. Departing from Tilbury on 25th July, Spirit of Discovery will sail from the Northern Isles to the Fjords. You’ll sail through Sognefjord, Norway’s longest fjord, as well as the remote and rugged archipelagos of the Orkney and Shetland Islands, Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides and Scrabster, which is well-placed for exploring the Highlands and John O’Groats.
