Scenic Eclipse, The World’s First Discovery Yachts, and the 5-star luxury yacht, Emerald Sakara, are set to start in Channel 5’s exciting new travel documentary series, Jane McDonald: From Pole to Pole.
This six-part adventure series, set to air in 2026, will follow beloved television personality and seasoned traveller, Jane McDonald, as she embarks on an extraordinary expedition from Antarctica to the Arctic.
In this ultimate voyage of discovery, Jane will traverse continents, oceans, and time zones, experiencing the wonders of the world in her signature style - combining luxury travel with breathtaking landscapes and global adventure.
From the icy terrains of Antarctica to the remote beauty of the Arctic Circle, the series promises stunning visuals, engaging storytelling, and a unique perspective on some of the planet’s most spectacular destinations.

Each episode will see Jane take audiences to a new location, including Antarctica, South Georgia, the Falklands, Uruguay, Brazil, Greece, Italy, Norway, Svalbard and the Arctic Circle.
Along the way, Jane will embrace the high life, travelling in style aboard Scenic Eclipse, a six-start polar class discovery yacht and Emerald Sakara, a luxury yacht reserved exclusively for just 100 guests. She will also take on thrilling experiences, from helicopter rides to whale watching and even performing a song at the end of each episode - bringing her signature warmth and entertainment to audiences.
With just 200 guests in the polar regions (228 in other destinations) and an almost 1:1 staff-to-guest ratio and private butler service, Scenic Eclipse ensures an extraordinary level of personalised service for each guest. Offering world-class exploration, guests can opt to explore their chosen destination by Zodiac, kayak, a custom-built submersible or on one of two onboard helicopters.
The state-of-the-art on-board activities and amenities on Emerald Sakara create a perfect balance of exploration and relaxation. The luxury yacht features an infinity-style Aqua Pool on the top deck, a Marina Platform designed for easy access to water sport activities in the sea, and a Wellness Centre complete with spa, gym, and infrared sauna.
