Silversea unveils major refurbishment of Silver Muse

Silversea has completed a major refurbishment of Silver Muse, introducing the line’s hallmark S.A.L.T. culinary program

Miami, USA: Silversea has completed a refurbishment of Silver Muse - the ship’s first major dry dock since 2017. Among the key enhancements is the addition of Silversea’s award-winning S.A.L.T. culinary program (with S.A.L.T. Kitchen and S.A.L.T. Bar) as well as reimagined public spaces and additional suite options.

Bert Hernandez, President of Silversea, said: “The transformation of Silver Muse underscores our commitment to delivering the most exceptional experiences at sea.

“By introducing our acclaimed S.A.L.T. program and elevating key spaces, we are enriching the intimacy, elegance, and culinary immersion that define Silversea. These enhancements reflect our guests’ feedback and our dedication to bringing more of what they love - enriching every voyage with culture and flavour.”

Following her revitalisation in Palermo, Italy, Silver Muse embarked on her first voyage in late December, taking guests on a 14-night holiday sailing from Barcelona to Lisbon. These guests were the first to experience new onboard enhancements, designed to enrich the onboard experience.

Among the most notable upgrades:

  • The introduction of S.A.L.T. Kitchen and S.A.L.T. Bar: With the addition of S.A.L.T. Kitchen and S.A.L.T. Bar, guests indulged in destination-inspired menus and regionally crafted cocktails, deepening their connection to the regions they visited. These additions complement the array of S.A.L.T. experiences already introduced onboard.
  • Enhancements to food and beverage offerings: Silver Muse guests also discovered refreshed offerings across Silversea’s signature venues, now available on select ships. These include Dolce Vita’s Italian-inspired aperitivo experience, featuring new signature cocktails, such as the bold Cerberus Negroni - crafted with gin, Pedro Ximénez-infused Campari, and sage butter vermouth. The serene Arts Café introduced elevated pastries and Ronnefeldt tea selections, while La Terrazza debuted a tableside marini cart, new signature cocktails, and non-alcoholic options to complement its authentic Italian menu. Meanwhile, The Grill enhanced its selection of poolside classics, and guests benefited from an upgraded in-suite dining program, offering a refreshed dinner menu and all-day favourites served by dedicated butlers.
  • Refreshed interiors and public spaces: Guests onboard were the first to enjoy a new pickleball court, putting green, and simulator experience debuting on Silver Muse. They also relaxed in a refined pool deck, featuring refreshed furnishings.
  • Expanded suite options: New Medallion Suites offered the perfect balance between space and value. These suites feature a veranda, luxurious bathroom with a double vanity, bathtub, and walk-in shower, as well as a secluded bedroom area with a king-size bed.

Silver Muse’s dry dock represents the first step in Silversea’s continued investment in elevating the guest experience across the fleet, with the brand now turning its attention to enhancements to Silver Spirit.
