Keukenhof is located in South Holland and it is known as the Gardens of Europe as it has been the world’s largest flower gardens for over 50 years. The reason for creating the garden was to hold a flower exhibit where various growers from all around Netherlands and Europe could present their hybrids and eventually help the Dutch export industry grow. The best period to visit would be spring as millions of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, bluebells and other flowers blossom.
