May 2019 will see the lift of the current £7 per person per day Service Charge
25 Oct 2018
We are delighted to announce that as of May 2019 P&O Cruises will no longer be charging guests a daily Service Charge. P&O Cruises Service Charge currently costs passengers £7 per person per day. The change will take place across the entire P&O Cruises fleet and will be applicable on all voyages, regardless of the duration.
P&O Cruises have also made it clear to their guests that they can rest assure that fares will not rise in light of the change, meaning there has never been a better time to book your P&O Cruises holiday for next Summer onwards.
Staff aboard the ships will also not be affected by this revolutionary change as passengers can still tip if they wish too – it’s just not expected nor required. The philosophy behind the change is to simply make life as stress free as possible for guests.
As it does take a little bit of time for a change of this nature to be taken of, a discretionary daily Service Charge of £7 will continue to be added on for guests aged 12 and above until May 2019 (excluding cruises A911, B912, E911/A, J903, N910, R907, X907 and all thereafter).
