Choose from 12 ziplines and glide through the sky for over 2 miles whilst spotting the local monkeys in their natural habitats, there really is no better place to get a real glimpse of what Roatán has to offer.
Wildlife on your doorstep
Roatán is home to a plethora of exotic animals, birds and sea creatures, but none more famous than the Macaws, the national bird of Honduras. You’ll find these colourful birds in numerous spots around the island, look out for them in their pairs, once Macaws find a soul mate they stay together for life. Head to the Gumbalimba Park and get up close and personal with these majestic creatures.
West Bay is a hot spot for backpackers and those looking for sandy white beaches and tasty eateries. A day spent in the bay will offer a calm and tranquil setting for a day of sunbathing, snorkelling and eating. Look out for local fisherman as they head out onto the crystal-clear waters searching for fresh, locally caught seafood and follow in pursuit as you dip your toes in the warm, sandy waters.
