Never get best offer price

21 Apr 2018

Every time I ring up for an offer the best advertised price seems to be gone and I have to pay extra. Although the telephone operator was plesant one does feel that they are on commission and therefore charge the higher price.

Thank you for your feedback.  We are booking from a live system with the cruise line, they do have ‘fluid pricing’ which means  the price can go up or down depending on demand, the cruise line will give us the price and this is what you would be charged.

Improvements needed

16 Apr 2018

Original holiday cancelled by operator. Handling by ROL not of the best (difficulty in getting hold of ROL, inconsistency of information, incorrect information etc.) I had to keep riding back to get things corrected. Cancellation department need to sharpen up I think, and recognise that cancellations and rebooking are traumatic and disappointing for customers - not routine!

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your cruise was subject to a redeployment of which we understand came as a disappointment to both our customers affected and ourselves. I understand that our Customer Support Team transferred your voyage to an alternative sailing within 5 days of us being notified of this change and we hope you are now looking forward to your sailing in 2019.

I apologise that you feel this wasn't an easy process, this is never our intention and I will certainly pass on your feedback to the Customer Support Team.

I hope they fix the engine vibration before I use the vessel again

14 Apr 2018

The general overall condition of the vessel and the tours and on board facitities were good. The lectures about Concorde and the RAF were excellent. The cruise was let down by the condition of the power plant as there was obviously a big problem with the engines/properller shafts shafts as they vibrated by such an amount they really upset the dining experience as the dining room was at the rear of the vessel

First class service.

13 Apr 2018

Pleasant and very helpful service throughout initial enquiiry and then actual booking. I would have no hesitation in recommending ROL to others.

Thank you for such a wonderful review! It is a delight to hear you have had a smooth journey throughout the entire process!

Excellent personal, efficient service

13 Apr 2018

Service overall was very good. We got the cabins we requested on the cruise we wanted at a discounted price due to having ROL points. However, was disappointed to find out that the ROL operative had misinformed me regarding the use of a particular benefit to gain additional OBS with P&O. P&O informed me that we could not use this benefit as we had not booked direct with them. I made a point of enquiring about this and was told that all I needed to do was speak to P&O after booking. This was not the case.

Thank you for taking the time to speak to me today, I hope you are happy now it has all been resolved, hopefully for future bookings our star rating can be improved.

Overview

Looking for the ultimate March Break vacation? We've got just the thing: an island romp through the Caribbean! At St. John, you’ll find miles of scenic mountain roads, protected parklands, and a colorful underwater snorkeling trail at beautiful Trunk Bay. Explore the lively and luxurious Philipsburg in St. Maarten with a late stay in port. Then relax on the gorgeous white beaches of St. Barts. Stroll the pretty harbor and explore the chic boutiques and fine restaurants. We stay late here, too, so you can enjoy the sunset, perhaps with a flute of French champagne. It’s St. Barts, after all. Get out in the great outdoors in Tortola with a trek to the top of Sage Peak, or live life on island time at Smuggler’s Cove Beach. Next it’s on to Punta Cana. This dazzling gem in the Dominican is famous the world over for its stunning beaches and is so much more than a cookie-cutter resort town. Before heading home, stop for a beach picnic and relaxing under the palm trees of Labadee® on the north coast of Hispaniola. It’s our own private beach and your secluded oasis.

    Day 4

    St. John - U.S.virgin Islands

    04 Mar 2019

Smallest of the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. John is only nine miles by three miles, and two-thirds of that area is national park. In colonial times almost the entire island was clear-cut to make room for sugar cane; now there is fervent support for protecting the new growth, much of it introduced. Hiking trails of all lengths and levels of difficulty traverse these acres, and lead through the ruins of plantations. The park also contains 5,650 acres of submerged land, with an abundance of coral gardens. Trunk Bay, one of the world’s most stunning beaches, offers a marked under-sea snorkeling trail so you know what you are looking at.

  • Philipsburg, St Maarten

    Day 5

    Philipsburg, St Maarten

    05 Mar 2019

It’s hard to get lost in Philipsburg – one mile of colorful Creole houses long and four streets deep, it is easy to explore. It is also a place where you may find yourself on the brink of an adventure you have long imagined. Transfixed by those gutsy mariners sailing for glory in the America’s Cup? Now is your chance to race aboard one of those ace vessels as a working crew member. Thrilled by the stories of divers but intimidated by SCUBA? Try SNUBA and float carefree, tethered to the surface by a long hose and an ample supply of air. The reward: warm waters, a rainbow of tropical reef fish, sunken wrecks, and tall tales of your own to take home with you.

  • Gustavia, St. Barts

    Day 6

    Gustavia, St. Barts

    06 Mar 2019

St. Barts is a tropical paradise with a French flair. Red rooftops cluster on deep green hillsides, and front an irresistibly blue bay. Tranquil lagoons and dozens of creamy white sand beaches vie for your attention with chic boutiques and French restaurants, and the air is filled with mingling scents of frangipani and fresh baguettes. Explore the dramatic scenery in your own ATV, cruise the coast in a speedboat, or hike to a secluded cove for a swim.

  • Day 7

    Virgin Gorda, BVI

    07 Mar 2019

Local lore has it that the unusual shape of this little bit of paradise reminded Christopher Columbus of a reclining, voluptuous woman, so he named it Virgin Gorda, the "Fat Virgin." She is suitably adorned with dramatic heights that plunge down from Gorda Peak to the sparkling turquoise waters far below. This is a good place to explore in a jeep, swim with dolphins, or hike the rugged trails throughout the island. Virgin Gorda is most famous for The Baths, where giant granite boulders are strewn across the beach and in the water, creating pools, caves, and grottos – a sort of natural water park.

The Ship

Like her sister ship, the sturdy Azamara Journey is a mid-sized beauty with a deck plan well-suited to the needs of modern voyagers. You’ll never feel crowded in the comfortable social spaces of our bars, restaurants, lounges, Casino and Cabaret. Nor will you feel like a sardine jammed in around the pool, where our attentive staff is always ready to offer a complimentary bottled water, soft drink or fresh towel. Staterooms feature modern amenities, furnishings, and European linens. And one of the greatest features of this ship is the large number of staterooms with verandahs. There’s nothing better than opening your door to the fresh sea air and views. Azamara’s friendly ships are an altogether wonderful place to call your home away from home!##
