Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service - far better than trying to do it yourself online!

Great service

18 Feb 2019

They answered the phone quickly and found out the minute of the cruise when asked. She gave her direct line and either remembered us or kept good records so that after 4 telephone conversations (while we thought about it) we concluded the deal. Very good

Great service and cruise miles as well.

Great service and cruise miles as well.

good booking proceedure but let down by non follow up of complaints .

18 Feb 2019

Never came back to me regarding previous cruise complaints against celebrity cruises. celebrity have eventually replied re my e mail to rol and celebrity, but nothing from rol. booking experience quite good but have certainly lost a star because of their non reply as stated.

This is the first time I have booked with ROL and so far, no complaints!

18 Feb 2019

The cruise consultant acknowledged my enquiry and confirmed she would telephone the following morning, which she did. As I require an accessible cabin there were none available on my first my choice of cruise, but one was found on a similar cruise sailing a month later. This was booked, and confirmation was emailed within a couple of hours, with the promise that all the paperwork would be received within five working days.

Great Purchasing Experience

18 Feb 2019

Kelly Boherty was the agent that helped us make the cruise purchase. We are in the USA so she followed up from Joy Magnussen who said she would have someone call us on Saturday morning and Kelly did that. She went over the details as we had never purchased a cruise from ROL. She was very detailed, had answers to our questions and was very pleasant. Hopefully the follow up with cruise information and the cruise itself will be as pleasant an smooth.

Overview

Embark on a voyage into a brilliant world of wild animals and fiery volcanoes. The brooding, active volcano of Mount Bromo, and chalky blue waters that fill Ijen Crater, await to stir your senses. Elsewhere, experience the frenetic action of bull racing in Madura, see orang-utans in the wild, and meet one of nature's more unusual evolutionary whims - floppy nosed proboscis monkeys.

    16 Jul 2019

Semarang is one of the oldest cities in Indonesia, situated on Java's north coast between the shore of the Java Sea and a small ridge of mountains. Ceded to the Dutch West India Company in 1677 by King Amangkurat I in payment of his debts, it became their headquarters and the seat of the Dutch governor of the northeast provinces. Semarang's usefulness as a port waned due to the gradual silting up of the harbor. By the 19th century, Surabaya had eclipsed Semarang as Java's premier port.

The Ship

Silversea's third expedition ship is expertly engineered to explore the most isolated archipelagos of the Pacific. Her small size and shallow draft allow close-up access to rugged coasts well beyond the reach of ordinary vessels. And she has been newly refurbished to help guests maximize their experience and build a genuine connection with the regions they visit. Spacious decks and panoramic public rooms mean the drama of the unexpected is never far from view. A fleet of Zodiacs allows exploration from the water or remote landings anywhere nature or curiosity dictate. Since many of our expeditions sail to some of the world's most pristine coral reef systems, there's a glass-bottom boat for underwater viewing along with a full complement of snorkelling equipment and a dive programme for advanced divers. We've also taken great care to assemble a truly outstanding Expedition Team, composed of experts in the culture, history and wild life of the destinations, to present informal talks, guide Zodiac outings and lead small-group explorations ashore. While back on board, every creature comfort awaits: an ocean-view suite, in-suite bar and the head-to-toe pampering of a butler; elegant lounges and open bar where fellow travellers gather to swap tales about their day's adventures; and cuisine that meets Silversea's standards of culinary excellence — which are lofty, indeed. Imaginative menus in The Restaurant feature both regional offerings and dishes inspired by Relais & Châteaux. Additional amenities include a sun-catching pool deck, an internet cafe, a fitness centre, and a beauty and massage centre — particularly alluring after an adventurous day ashore.
