Life on board MS AmaReina

The ship

The modern AmaReina features one of the most advanced designs of any river cruise ship currently in operation. Hosting 164 passengers, the AmaReina provides ample space for guests to roam across the vessel, giving them the opportunity to enjoy her classy character and charming grace.

Accommodation

The AmaReina provides a wide range of accommodation sizes, catering for personal requirements no matter the circumstance.

Watch as the scenic cities of Europe glide past from the comfort of your bedroom, with many of the available rooms including two private balconies - a French balcony and a full outside balcony. The floor-to-ceiling sliding glass panel transforms your living area into an enclosed balcony space, meaning you needn’t leave your room to experience the beauty that Europe has to offer.

Experience the stunning views from the incredible comfort and sophistication of the Twin Window Suites, which are amongst the largest in their category as entry-level accommodation.

Alternatively, you are invited to indulge in the exclusive luxury of the Royal Suites, measuring an impressive 300 square feet and including both a French balcony and a large outside balcony. These particular cabins offer unparalleled class and finesse.

Cuisine and Dining

The AmaReina does not fail to live up to expectations offering a range of dining venues.

Freshly made and prepared with passion, the menu reflects local delicacies from where the vessel is travelling, while still providing traditional favourites; such as gourmet steaks and refreshing, creative salads.

Indulge in exclusivity by dining at the Chef’s Table, an intimate restaurant consisting of only 24 seats. Watch the ingenious on-board chefs create your exquisite dishes through their open-kitchen. Become educated as well as spoiled, as you receive expert knowledge from a wine steward who can perfectly match an impeccable wine to further enhance your meal.

The River Bistro is a smaller restaurant, consisting of four tables. It provides a cosy and warm atmosphere in times when the main restaurant is closed, giving you multiple options when it comes to satisfying your appetite aboard the AmaReina.

Entertainment

Take advantage of the complimentary bicycles on offer. You are free to explore the picturesque cities independently, or take part in a guided tour, which are often available with no extra fee. Back on board, performers are invited to join the vessel, and provide exciting and localised entertainment that captures the essence of the culture you will have seen during the day.

Spa and Fitness

The MS AmaReina provides a small fitness centre consisting of ultramodern equipment, considerately equipped with televisions and water refill posts. Alternatively, you can raise your heart rate while appreciating the view, by using the walking track that circulates the sun deck. Failing that, why not make use of the vessel’s complimentary bicycle service when exploring on-shore locations. Soak in the events of the day in the heated pool, ideal for gentle relaxation as you drift off into contemplation and reflection.

Recreation

On the sun deck, you will find the pool is the ideal place to watch the beautiful scenery pass by. The comfortable, wicker sofas are a perfect place to relax on a warm day, with the fresh river air breezing through your hair. The cosy library provides a selection of books for you to read at your leisure too for added escape. Additionally, guests are invited to spend time in the Main Lounge, complete with a bar, piano, comfy chairs and floor-to-ceiling windows so you won’t miss a minute of the beautiful scenery.
