Named after the northern region of Norway, most of which lies north of the Arctic Circle, MS Nordnorge is a modern expedition ship with elegant styling throughout.
MS Nordnorge spent six years exploring Antarctica and providing her guests with memorable experiences. Newly refurbished in 2016 with a mix of modern, Art Nouveau and Art Deco influences seen throughout the interior décor. She comes fully equipped with panorama lounge, sun deck, observation deck, and her own expedition team on board.
The Nordnorge offers guests a choice of 214 cabins in 11 categories, including Inside, Outside, Suite and Mini Suite. For unforgettable scenery, choose a cabin with a sea view to make the most of sailing through some of the world’s most spectacular waters.
Savour bountiful breakfast buffets and three-course evening meals in the Halogaland dining room, with its panoramic windows to ensure you don’t miss the magnificent views even when dining. The cafe serves casual fare and lighter meals, including pizza, omelettes and hot drinks for you to enjoy at any time of the day or night.
Relax and unwind in one of two whirlpool tubs, or keep active on board MS Nordnorge with the gym and fitness equipment located on deck 2. Guests will find separate men’s and women’s saunas just next door. A promenade encircles deck 5 and is great for experiencing the fresh sea air and for viewing the outstanding scenery.
The ever-changing landscape is the special allure on board MS Nordnorge, which explains why the Torghatten observation lounge is one of the most popular public areas on the ship. With its panoramic views and comfortable 360-degree swivel chairs, it is the perfect spot for raising your binoculars and scanning the passing fjords and islands. The expedition and information team are always on hand, bringing you the most memorable and exciting excursions at each port.
