Welcoming 3,100 passengers aboard, Azura is one of the largest ships in the P&O Cruises fleet. She, alongside sister ship Ventura, offers a plethora of on board entertainment in the form of bars, pubs, lounges and restaurants. Azura joined the P&O Cruises fleet and has undergone two refurbishments since.
From Inside cabins to palatial Suites, there’s a cabin for every budget and taste aboard Azura. Inside cabins are great for those that want a more economical way to travel, preferring to be out and about exploring at shore or experiencing the ship. Sea View cabins provide you with fantastic views and lots of natural light. Balcony cabins open out onto individual balconies, providing you with a panoramic view of the ocean and a lovely spot to sit back relax and watch the world go by. The ultimate in luxury, Suites offer additional space with a lounge area, a superior bathroom, dressing area and a broad balcony to relax on. Whichever you choose, your cabin will be waiting to help you unwind at sea.
Every cabin features dreamy Egyptian cotton bed sheets, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, a hairdryer, a safe for all of your valuables, a television and en-suite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries.
There are three Fredoom Dining options on Azura. Enjoy on a delicious five-course meal at the Meridian, Peninsular or Oriental restaurants at any time between 6.00 pm and 9.30 pm to embark on a culinary adventure. Each restaurant has the same menu with a choice of six to seven main courses with options such as steak, roast dinners and chicken breast always available. Expect to see a British cheeseboard after pudding.
A great option for daytime dining, Venezia and Verona offer a casual setting and family-friendly buffets. Verona becomes the Beach House in the evening and is the most relaxed of the on board fee dining options. Here, you’ll find American classics such as fried chicken, mac ‘n’ cheese and beef brisket.
There are also three other free dining restaurants; Sindhu, Glass House and The Epicurean. Sindhu offers Indian cuisine but with a British twist, the Glass House is a wine bar and restaurant created alongside award-winning wine connoisseur Olly Smith and The Epicurean offers a molecular gourmet twist on classic British fare.
De-stress at Oasis Spa, be pampered in the hair and beauty salon or sweat it out in the sauna or steam room. For extra indulgence, The Retreat is an alfresco spa terrace exclusive to adults. The terrace caters to those wanting to unwind and bask in natures beauty in a breezy cabana.
With activities including yoga, fitness and dance classes, getting in shape can be fun and social on Azura. There is also a gym available for those of you who prefer to go solo. Azura has family-friendly swimming pools (and adults-only pools too), so there’s a swimming experience tailored to your needs.
From plays in the theatre to live bands, comedy to cabaret, you’ll never be board on Azura. And with black tie evenings on board, there’s also the chance to get dressed up and enjoy a night of subtle elegance the good old fashioned way. Immerse yourself in a good book in Azura’s library, escape into another world or pore through a bed of famous artists and handpicked local talent at the Art Gallery. There’s also plenty of shopping opportunities with a variety of designer goods including clothes, jewellery and fragrances.
Sail to the blissful beaches of the Caribbean, become besotted with the Baltic or enjoy the warm sunshine of the mystifying Mediterranean, all on an Azura cruise.
