Launched in 2018, MV Princess Eleganza is a small, yacht-style vessel designed for relaxed cruising along Croatia’s beautiful Dalmatian Coast. Welcoming just 36 guests on board, she offers an intimate atmosphere that feels far removed from larger ocean ships - ideal if you prefer a more personal, unhurried style of travel. Purpose-built for coastal sailing, MV Princess Eleganza is perfectly suited to weaving between islands, calling at historic waterfront towns and docking close to the heart of the action. With comfortable cabins, a spacious Sun Deck and a laid-back onboard ambience, she’s well matched to guests who want to explore the Adriatic at a gentler pace while still enjoying the ease of life at sea.
MV Princess Eleganza keeps things simple and comfortable, with just 19 cabins and a maximum of 36 guests, so the on-board feel is relaxed and personal. Cabins are finished in a clean, modern style, and all come with the essentials you actually want on a coastal cruise: air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a television, a safe and a hair dryer.
Cabins are spread across three passenger decks. On the Main Deck, you’ll find cabins with portholes - compact, cosy and ideal if you’re more interested in the destinations than spending lots of time in your cabin. The Upper Deck cabins have small windows, and on the Promenade Deck, you’ll find cabins with larger picture windows for a brighter space and a better view. There’s also a single cabin option for solo travellers, which is a real plus on a small ship like this.
This is a ship for people who enjoy the destination first and foremost, so onboard entertainment is low-key and suits the pace of Adriatic cruising. The social heart of the ship is simply being together - a drink, a chat, and the view.
The Sun Deck is where most people naturally gravitate during the day. It’s set up for lounging and watching the coastline change as you sail, and because there are so few guests on board, it tends to feel calm rather than busy. Evenings are generally relaxed too, often with guests gathering on deck or in the lounge to unwind after a day ashore.
Dining is centred around a single restaurant serving fresh, Mediterranean-style cuisine with a simple, home-cooked feel. You’ll generally find the emphasis is on good flavours rather than formality - the kind of food that suits days spent swimming, sightseeing and walking around old towns.
A big part of the experience is also what happens off the ship: itineraries typically include overnight stays in port, which gives you the chance to head out and try local restaurants in the evenings rather than always dining on board.
This is very much “sun, sea, and slow afternoons” rather than spa-and-gym cruising.
The best place to unwind is the Sun Deck, where you can settle in with a book, enjoy the breeze and take in the scenery as you sail between islands and coastal towns. With such a small guest capacity, it’s easy to find a quiet spot and properly switch off.
MV Princess Eleganza is designed for Adriatic coastal cruising, sailing along Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast. It’s well-suited to this region because it can reach smaller ports and island stops that bigger ships simply can’t. Itineraries typically include headline favourites such as Split and Dubrovnik, alongside a mix of smaller islands and waterfront towns where the days feel unhurried, and the setting does a lot of the talking.
