Excellent service once more

I needed to re book in view of the latest crisis. I was able to do so quite easily thanks to Nicky who explained my options clearly and with good humour bearing in mind the demand!

Alex did an impressive job of rearranging a cruise around Norway (due to depart on 23rd March) to March of 2021, deferred because of the Coronavirus pandemic. She was, polite, cheerful and very efficient in resolving this matter for which I was very grateful. She was an absolute credit to ROL She did say that I would receive an e-mail confirming all of the rearrangements, although I am still awaiting receipt of the same

Customer Service did extremely well considering the pressures they were under. only 1 man was really rude and did nothing to encourage customers to stay with ROL. All of the ladies were extremely helpful, especially one called Georgina who was very patient dealing with an eighty year old. Considering the long time it takes to get through to a rep, the music gets so boring as its so repetitive. When trying to transfer to another cruise it would be better to have a list of basic prices and available cabins for the new Cruise you fancy. After booking a new cruise still have no confirmation or price breakdown nearly 3 weeks later. Georgina did her best to explain it to me and although I accept what she told me it still do not understand it.

Darrell was excellent we had to change our upcoming cruise with Fred Olsen owing to the Coronavirus situation, we chose to change to 2021. No problem. Darrell went through everything thoroughly.

Surprising service at a time of a national shutdown

In these challenging times, everyone at ROL appears to be helping customers with cancellations and re-bookings and now they are all working from home even though for the two persons I dealt with don’t do this as there normal day job. The service I received was excellent. Alex, especially was great, she sorted out the extra discounts I was entitled to with the cruise line as this was the second time my cruise had been cancelled.

Because of the present Coronavirus situation telephoning was quite slow but when I did get through they were very helpful and secured my refund from Cunard and booked my cruise for 2021.
