With the Government advice on international travel changing and the introduction of a travel traffic light system, we have a lot to look forward to! From 17th May 2021, domestic cruises will be permitted in England. With excitement building, we thought we’d put together a list of our cruise line partners expected return to service dates. We can’t wait!
Azamara will be setting sail once again on Saturday 28th August 2021. Azamara Pursuit, with her signature boutique hotel style, will begin proceedings with an 11-night voyage to Greece where she’ll visit Mykonos, Rhodes, Santorini, Katakolon and lots more.
Celebrity Cruises have so far announced three significant dates for their long-anticipated return to cruising. The newly revolutionised Celebrity Millennium will homeport in the tropical paradise of St. Maarten from Saturday 5th June 2021, offering two seven-night cruise itineraries around the Caribbean. Celebrity Apex, who will be making her debut, will begin sailing from Saturday 19th June 2021. She will be offering roundtrip week-long cruises from Athens, stopping off at Rhodes, Santorini, Limassol, Haifa and Jerusalem. Lastly, Celebrity Cruises’ no-fly seacation sailings from Southampton will begin on Saturday 3rd July 2021.
From Monday 19th July 2021, Cunard’s second-largest ship Queen Elizabeth will be sailing around the British Isles. She will be offering four itineraries of 3, 4 and 7 nights. On board, you’ll experience all the usual Cunard charm alongside elevated health and safety protocols.
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines
Family-owned favourite Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines will be back on the water from Monday 5th July 2021. Borealis, one of the cruise lines two new ships, will be setting sailing on her maiden voyage. Departing from Liverpool, she will carry guests on a scenic cruise around Scotland’s tranquil lochs. Bolette’s maiden voyage will begin on Monday 16th August 2021 as she sails from Dover to the Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands.
Hurtigruten will return to sailing on Sunday 4th July 2021. MS Maud will be offering domestic cruises around the British Isles this summer, offering guests the opportunity to unearth the hidden gems on our doorstep. Ports of call include Fishguard, Wales, Rathlin Island, Northern Ireland and Stornoway, Scotland.
Enjoy 5★ luxury aboard Oceania Cruises from Sunday 29th August 2021 as Marina takes to the water once again. Discover the remarkable as you sail from Copenhagen, Denmark to Stockholm, Sweden with stops at Berlin, Gdansk and St. Petersburg in-between.
The moment all P&O Cruises fans have been waiting for, beautiful Britannia will begin sailing from Sunday 27th June 2021 as the cruise line eases back into normality. Iona will head off on her long-awaited maiden voyage on Saturday 7th August 2021.
Princess Cruises will return to service on Saturday 31st July 2021 with their Summer Seacations. Regal Princess will offer 15 UK voyages running from Saturday 31st July 2021 to Thursday 23rd September 2021 while Sky Princess will offer 8 UK cruises from Monday 30th August 2021 to Tuesday 28th September 2021.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Seven Seas Splendor will welcome guests aboard from Saturday 11th September 2021 as Regent Seven Seas Cruises return to sailing. She will depart from Southampton before heading to lots of different locations including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast.
Royal Caribbean International
Royal Caribbean International is set to return to sailing from Saturday 12th June 2021. Adventure of the Seas will run seven-night cruises from Nassau in The Bahamas and will include two days at its Perfect Day and CocoCay private islands. Closer to home, Anthem of the Seas will be departing from Southampton for their Seacations from Wednesday 7th July 2021.
Saga Cruises will be sailing once again from Sunday 27th June 2021. Spirit of Adventure and Spirit of Discovery will be sailing around the British Isles this June and July. Saga Cruises has been working hard over the last few months to put these exciting new itineraries together, which include some unusual and less-visited parts of the UK such as Scrabster and Invergordon.
Seabourn will be welcoming guests back on board from Saturday 3rd July 2021. Seabourn Ovation will be sailing the Aegean Sea, departing from Athens and stopping off at unmissable destinations including Rhodes, Mykonos and Limassol. Meanwhile, Seabourn Odyssey will be heading off on a discovery of the Caribbean, exploring Barbados, Saint Lucia, the British Virgin Islands and Grenada.
Silver Moon will finally make her debut as Silversea begins sailing again from June. On Friday 18th June 2021, Silver Moon will head off on a Mediterranean cruise visiting 3 countries and 13 ports including Paros, Heraklion, Ashdod, Haifa and lots more.
