ROL convenient and reliable service for cruises

24 Mar 2019

They provide an efficient and knowledgeable booking service for a range, but not all, cruise lines. Have used them in the past and expect to use them again sometime in the future.

ROL certainly is a 5 star company

24 Mar 2019

Katie was so helpful and patient and made me feel special. She was extremely professional and we got there in the end after her having to make phone calls and I'm sure I'd provided her with a challenge. Fantastic service - my first impression of ROL wonderful. I'd heard from others that ROL was a great company to go with - they weren't wrong! I'd definitely recommend ROL to others. ROL certainly is a 5 star company.

Great service.

Migrating whales, rivers of ice and super fresh seafood capture the hearts of its visitors, although Alaska’s capital city also has a strong mining history. Once the sacred territory of the Auke and Taku tribes, Juneau was named after the gold prospector Joe Juneau.

    17 Jul 2019

The onion domes of St. Michael's Cathedral are your first clue that Sitka was once a Russian settlement - the colonial headquarters of Count Baranof, no less. Discover the echoes of its heyday at a performance by the New Archangel Dancers. Be greeted by Tlingit native people, then stand on the spot where the United States took possession of Alaska in 1867 for $7.2 million, less than two cents per acre. The dramatic setting in the shadow of Mt. Edgecumbe is one of the lovliest in the Great Land. Take a stroll through old growth forest in Sitka National Historical Park, shop the downtown district, and poke around the Sheldon Jackson Museum for a close-up look at some of the city's most prized arts, crafts and Russian relics.

  • Ketchikan, Alaska

    Day 6

    Ketchikan, Alaska

    18 Jul 2019

Super-scenic Ketchikan sits on the edge of Revillagigedo Island, surrounded by the verdant Tongass National Forest. Its waters are rich with Pacific salmon, a fact which drew native Tlingit and industrial fishermen here, not to mention an abundance of wildlife. Black bears can often be seen catching fish from passing streams, while birds of prey soar over glacial mountains.
