After breakfast, head to the splendid Baroquestyle Cusco Cathedral, built by the Spaniards in the mid-1500s on the foundations of an Incan palace. Many of the stones used in its construction were looted from the nearby Sacsayhuamán fortress.

From there, continue to Koricancha where you can admire the lovely Dominican Convent of Santo Domingo that was built on the foundations of the Temple of the Sun, the most important temple in the Inca Empire.

After lunch, transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima.

Do Hurtigruten offer a Flexible Cancellation Policy?

Hurtigruten offers a 'Book with Confidence' policy which allows guests the ability to change their sailing free of charge up to 31 days prior to departure. Applicable to sailings departing in 2022 only. Guests can also receive a refund in form of a future cruise credit to use towards a Hurtigruten cruise departing up until 31st December 2022. Book your shore excursion by calling our Customer Service Team on 0808 239 4975. Shore excursions can also be booked once onboard subject to availability

Do I need a COVID-19 vaccine to travel aboard a Hurtigruten ship?

In order to board, guests need to show proof of a negative PCR test no more than 72 hrs before the day of embarkation. PCR tests are NOT supplied by Hurtigruten and will be at your own expense. All travellers arriving in Norway must take a test after arrival, regardless of their vaccination status. 


When can I book shore excursions?

Please note: Pre-booked excursions on Expedition sailings is temporarily unavailable due to COVID regulations.
