Istanbul unveils its rich history at every turn, while its vibrant present is just as much of a draw for visitors.
Explore ancient Kavala with its striking mountains, crystalline waters, and multicultural buildings hugging the cliffs. Both the fortress and the Kavala aqueduct date back to the 16th Century. Visit the marketplace, stop for a coffee, stroll through the new shops and galleries. Look for ceramics, great wine, fine leather, white marble, handmade cigars, and designer clothing. The Castle of Kavala and the castle at Palaiochori are not to be missed. Then one of the many museums – the Archaeological Museum or the Municipal Museum top the list. The Imararet, the home built by Mohammed Ali Pasha in the 19th Century boasts Ottoman architecture and spectacular views of the sea. Linger over a meal of local specialties, stuffed eggplant or grilled seafood. Enjoy a glass of wine, a coffee and pastry as you absorb the harmony of Kavala.
Spend your sea day on the pool deck and soak up the sun with fresh drinks delivered to your sunbed. For a pre-dinner cocktail the Grandeur Lounge is the perfect place with its elegant ambience and soulful music. Compass Rose allows you to design you own entrée, this modern yet decadent restaurant experience is a must. For a high energy evening of entertainment head to the Constellation Theatre and be swept away by the Broadway professionals on board.
Chios is the fifth largest of the Greek islands, situated in the northern Aegean Sea. The island is separated from Turkey by the Chios Strait. Chios is notable for its exports of mastic gum and its nickname is "the Mastic Island".

On the western coast of Montenegro, tucked away from the Adriatic Sea, is the ancient town of Kotor. Beyond its snaking stone walls, this fortified city offers a charming glimpse back in time.
Known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” Dubrovnik was founded in the 7th century by a group of refugees from Epidaurum (today’s Cavtat). It is known worldwide for its unique marble-paved squares, tall houses, steep-cobbled streets and fountains. The city walls, once used to as protection against its enemies, now keep motorists at bay in this picturesque town. UNESCO named the Old City a World Heritage Site, and Dubrovnik’s beautiful historic sites have been restored to their former glory.
Discover richly rewarding Ravenna with its brilliantly preserved Byzantine basilicas and baptisteries, marvelous mausoleums and museums filled with mosaics dating from the 5th century right alongside beautiful beaches. Explore the Church of San Vitale, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, and the 6th century ivory throne of Archbishop-Maximian at the Museo Arcivesoville. Settle into a café to enjoy the locally created piadina bread stuffed with cheese, ham and radicchio. Visit the Baptisteries Neonian and Appolionaire each featuring mosaic masterpiece domes. View Dante’s tomb and the small garden next door.
Rijeka is a Croatian port city on Kvarner Bay in the northern Adriatic Sea. It’s known as a gateway to Croatia’s islands. Korzo, the main promenade, is lined with Habsburg-era buildings. Nearby, the 19th-century Ivan pl. Zajc Croatian National Theatre has ceiling paintings by Gustav Klimt. The hilltop Trsat Castle complex, which includes a religious shrine, has sweeping views of the islands of Kvarner Bay.
