Bars and lounges onboard Queen Anne

A look at Queen Anne’s bars and lounges

Published on 19 Aug 2025

When Queen Anne joined the Cunard fleet last year, she brought with her a whole host of impressive venues. Some of them new, and some of them much-loved by Cunard guests. Among the line-up were a range of bars and lounges. Here, we look at them in detail:

Queen Anne’s 8 bars and lounges:

Drawing Room

Deck 1

Positioned starboard, just off the Grand Lobby on Deck 1, the Drawing Room is a sanctuary inspired by grand English country manors. Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee or an early evening cocktail, it offers an oasis of calm. Pull up a pew at one of the writing desks to pen a letter to your loved ones at home, or relax into the plush seating with a book handpicked from the exquisite collection.

Games Room

Deck 1

Directly opposite the Drawing Room, competitive fun awaits in the Games Room. By day, it’s a peaceful space for relaxing puzzles and contemplative activities like watercolour painting. As evening falls, the lights are lowered, and the room comes alive with rousing games of chess and animated matches of backgammon over your favourite tipple. From time to time, the Games Room also plays host to engaging after-dinner speakers.

Chart Room

Deck 2

A firm favourite among Cunard guests, the Chart Room on Deck 2 is a refined cocktail bar just steps away from the Britannia and Britannia Club restaurants - perfectly positioned for a pre- or post-meal drink. By day, enjoy a chart-themed drink from the extensive selection of hot and cold options. Come evening, indulge in an expertly crafted cocktail inspired by the destinations you’ve visited.

Golden Lion

Deck 2

A friendly home-from-home, the Golden Lion is Cunard’s traditional pub, found on Deck 2. Settle into a leather banquette, pull up a stool at the bar, or take a seat by the stage as you sample one of Cunard’s three original craft beers, brewed in partnership with Dark Revolution. Marvel at live entertainment, test your aim with a game of darts, or watch live sports, all in one of Cunard’s most popular spots.

Queens Room

Decks 2 and 3

Long celebrated as the social heart of every Cunard Queen, the Queens Room (spanning Decks 2 and 3 on Queen Anne) is both a grand bar and an opulent ballroom. With its sweeping dance floor and glittering chandeliers, the space truly comes alive as the orchestra fills the air with music. From your table, drink in the traditional atmosphere with a glass of champagne or a speciality cocktail.

Carinthia Lounge

Deck 3

Known as the crown of the Grand Lobby, the Carinthia Lounge on Deck 3 is a time-honoured Cunard favourite. With its selection of freshly made smoothies, juices and hot drinks, it’s the ideal place to begin your day onboard Queen Anne. As evening falls, the focus turns distinctly Iberian - offering the largest selection of vintage Ports at sea, alongside Spanish and Portuguese wines by the glass, complemented by a choice of cocktails, spirits, and beers.

Grills Lounge

Deck 10

Reserved exclusively for the guests of Queens and Princess Grill Suites, the Grills Lounge is a quiet corner in which to relax with a coffee and a good book during the day. As evening arrives, the space transforms into an elegant bar, ideal for a pre-dinner aperitif or a relaxed nightcap. Choose from an extensive selection of cocktails, fine wines, champagnes, and premium spirits from around the world.

Commodore Club

Deck 12

Perched high on the ship for scintillating views, the Commodore Club on Deck 12 is inspired by legendary Cunard Commodores who have expertly captained the fleet over the years. Indulge in a collection of cocktails inspired by seven of Cunard’s most decorated Commodores (each with its own fascinating backstory) as a pianist takes centre stage and fills the room with soothing sounds.
