Your Voyage Highlights

Two Night 4 Hotel stay in Sydney

As the ship glides towards the port, the view of the Sydney cityscape in the distance is enough to take your breath away. Attracting visitors with its iconic harbour, glorious beaches and the stunning Blue Mountains to the west, Sydney hosts nearly half of all international visits to Australia. All bookings receive an EXCLUSIVE FREE Blue Mountains tour. Life really is a beach in Sydney – this city boasts more than 40 of them. The glorious Bondi Beach is the most famous and the place to go to watch surfers catch waves, while Maroubra Beach is a lovely location for a barbeque and simply watching the world go by. If more active pursuits are what you’re after, then why not enjoy a bridge tour of Sydney’s iconic Harbour Bridge? Not for the faint of heart, these tours will take you to the very top of this 134 metre giant. You’ll see breathtaking views of Sydney, the Harbour and the Opera House. Just a stone’s throw away from the Sydney Opera House and covering a sizeable 74 acres, the Royal Botanic Garden is a beautiful showcase of Australia’s native flora and fauna. Taronga Zoo is also especially popular with visitors – here you’ll meet the cutest, cuddliest, most endangered and most downright dangerous (but not right up close) of Australia’s incredible wildlife.

Overnight stay onboard in Auckland

Stretched over a volcanic field on New Zealand’s North Island is multicultural Auckland. The country’s largest city, this thriving hub offers everything you would expect – enchanting scenery at every turn, fascinating Maori heritage and friendly locals. The urban centre occupies a narrow isthmus between two harbours, while the outer region boasts beautiful beaches, fertile farmlands and rainforest-covered hills. One of the best ways to appreciate Auckland’s amazing vistas is from the 328m tall Sky Tower. The tallest man-made structure in the Southern Hemisphere, it offers 360-degree views of the city from three observation decks, plus a glass floor for a heart-stopping look straight down. For glorious scenery head to the idyllic Coromandel Peninsula, the spectacular Bay of Islands or the pine-clad Waitakere Mountains. Or, for something a little different, seek out the glowworms and stalactites of Waitomo Caves, the geothermal mud pools of Rotorua or marvel at Middle Earth on a Lord of the Rings tour.

Full Transit of the Panama Canal

When it was finally completed in 1914, the "Greatest shortcut on earth" shaved nearly 8000 miles off the journey between Americas East coast and West. During the 52 mile transit, you'll experience the man-made wonder of the canal, itself, an engineering marvel of dams, locks and lakes, but there's also the natural splendour that accompanies your crossing- a lush, virgin rain forest on either side.
