After this amazing experience, you will be transferred to your Ryokan in Yudanaka where you will enjoy an Onsen hot spring bath and a traditional Japanese kaiseki dinner
After a traditional Japanese breakfast, you will be transferred with your guide to Mt. Fuji where your first stop will be Oishi Park, which offers great views of Mt Fuji.
Afterwards, you will head to a local restaurant for lunch before boarding a mini cruise on stunning Lake Ashi. Next, take the cable car up to the viewpoint on Mt Komagatake where you can admire views of Mt Fuji and Lake Ashi
Transfer from the hotel to Yokohama Port and embark the Celebrity Millenium for your 12 night luxury voyage
A city where you’ll find centuries-old culture jostling for position next to cutting-edge technology – a fabulous blend of history and modernity that has to be seen to be believed.
On clear days, particularly in winter, Mount Fuji (Fuji-san in Japanese) is visible from as far as Tokyo, 60 miles away. When Japan’s highest mountain is capped with snow, it’s a picture-postcard perfect volcanic cone. One of the best-known symbols of Japan, this iconic mountain has been considered sacred since ancient times and was even forbidden to women until the early 1900s.
Visit Osaka Aquarium, one of the world's largest aquariums which has over 580 species of sea life on display, or Universal Studios Japan, the company’s first theme park outside of the U.S. Kyoto served as the nation’s capital for more than 1000 years, and is home to 17 different world heritage sites including Kiyomizudera Temple and Heian Jingu Shrine.
Hiroshima, a modern city on Japan’s Honshu Island, was largely destroyed by an atomic bomb during World War II. Today, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park commemorates the 1945 event. In the park are the ruins of Genbaku Dome, one of the few buildings that was left standing near ground zero. Other prominent sites include Shukkei-en, a formal Japanese garden, and Hiroshima Castle, a fortress surrounded by a moat and a park.
Busan, a large port city in South Korea, is known for its beaches, mountains and temples. Busy Haeundae Beach features the Sea Life Aquarium, plus a Folk Square with traditional games such as tug-of-war, while Gwangalli Beach has many bars and views of modern Diamond Bridge. Beomeosa Temple, a Buddhist shrine founded in 678 A.D., is at the base of Geumjeong Mountain, which has hiking trails.
Explore Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan from the base of Hakodate or fall in love with the city itself.
Aomori City is the capital of the Aomori prefecture, and by far one of Japan’s most underrated cities. Chock full of picturesque historic temples, museums, and close to incredible nature like Mt. Hakkoda, Aomori offers an off-the-beaten path take on Japan. Even though Aomori City has a population of over a quarter of a million, it still has that small-town sleepiness you’d be hard pressed to find in Tokyo or Kyoto. In the spring and summer, Aomori bursts to life with cherry blossom festivals and the Nebuta Festival every August. While you’re stopped here on an Asia cruise, don’t miss thought-provoking modern art exhibits at the Aomori Museum of Art, or a bird’s-eye view of the city from the observation deck of the ASPAM pyramid. Apple orchard tours and harborside strolls, local fish markets and dramatic ropeway rides to the top of Mt. Hakkoda are just a few of the offerings in Aomori for the adventurous outdoorist.

Marvel at the Magical Snow Monkeys of Japan
The Japanese macaques, better known as the snow monkeys, are named so because they live in areas where snow covers the ground for many months each year and can be distinguished by their red faces, brown-grey fur and short tails. During your tour, you'll spend time at the Jigokudani Monkey Park, home to the famous snow monkeys. Here you'll have the incredible opportunity to see wild monkeys bathing in a natural hot spring, known in Japan as an onsen. Accustomed to humans, the monkeys can be observed from very close quarters but as a highly protected species there are strict rules in place meaning your mustn't touch them - but you can watch! Marvel as large families of monkeys relax in the warm water - watching how they interact can be highly entertaining.
Mount Fuji
Mount Fuji is one of Japan's most enduring and famous sights. Not only is it Japan's highest mountain, but it's also an active volcano and considered sacred to the cities residents. The surrounding areas like Tokyo and Yokohama will give you a faraway glimpse of Mount Fuji, but you shouldn't miss the opportunity to get up close and personal with the mountain while you can. Oishi Park and the Mt. Komagatake viewpoint offer outstanding views of Mount Fuji during your INCLUDED land tour.
