Accommodation
The cabins on Celebrity Xploration are split between Suites and Oceanview Staterooms. Spacious enough to be a comfortable place to relax after the day’s exertions, each room is also cosy enough to feel like a home-away-from-home. Junior Suites are a spacious 180-square-foot space that features a convertible king-size bed, a large picture window and a private, secluded veranda. Expect premium bathrobes, a flat-screen television and complimentary use of wetsuits and snorkel equipment, all included.
The Elite Oceanview Staterooms are slightly larger at 190 square feet, with the same features and amenities. Though they don’t have a veranda, you can still enjoy a large picture window with sensational ocean views.
Dining
The main dining area on Celebrity Xploration is known simply as The Dining Room and is located on the Weather Deck. Serving throughout the day, it begins with a sumptuous buffet breakfast of freshly-cooked classics, moves on to equally inspired lunchtime delights and ends with an a la carte and buffet combination for dinner.
There is also an al fresco option for dining, which allows you to take your food under an open-air shade canopy. The place to visit for an ‘Early Riser’ continental breakfast, this beautiful space is open to the elements. It occasionally sees dinner served too, creating a truly authentic and distinctive cruise experience.
Entertainment
The recreational focal point of Celebrity Xploration is undoubtedly the excursions you take upon reaching the Galápagos Islands. The awe-inspiring trips at shore give you an unparalleled experience of the location that inspired Darwin’s theory of evolution. As you immerse yourself in the environment of this stunning archipelago, you may come face-to-face with its extraordinary residents, from reptiles to birds and even crustaceans. A truly memorable and life-changing event.
On board, the Lounge Bar is a great place to take stock, with documentaries regularly played on television, cosy spots to curl up and read and daily briefings held each day. There is a full bar service with drinks included on all voyages and a selection of comfortable, chic chairs and sofas on which to sit back and relax.
Out on the Sun Deck, you can soak up the rays and take in the views. The perfect spot for relaxation, grab one of the comfy sun loungers and watch the world glide by. If you fancy a dip, then why not jump in the jacuzzi? This is an amazing place for whale watching, star gazing and simply relaxing.
