Offering great value cruising paired with quality and service, Cruise & Maritime ensures that its guests are happy from start to finish – your comfort is its priority and this can be seen with 95% of Cruise & Maritime guests rating their cruise experience either good or excellent.
Embrace the Wonderful World of Cruise & Maritime Voyages
Discover a real maritime experience while on board one of Cruise & Maritime’s floating country house-style cruise ships, offering comfortable and spacious surroundings with a number of public areas to enjoy. Ships vary from small to mid size and cater for around 550-1,400 guests. The Cruise & Maritime fleet consists of five classicly-styled vessels, including Marco Polo, Astor, Astoria, Magellan and Columbus (which is set to replace Magellan as the cruise line’s flagship in April 2017). Marco Polo, Magellan and Columbus all operate as adult-only ships – perfect in the summer holidays for those that like to relax in a child-free environment. However, for those who are looking to take their children or the grandchildren away, Columbus will embark on a very special multigenerational sailing to the Majestic Fjordland on 4th August 2017.
What to Do in the Day and the Evening? – The Choice is Yours!
With a range of facilities and action-packed activities programmes available on board, guests will never need to worry about a shortage of things to do. On a sea day, why not relax around the pool, pick up a new skill from one of the arts and crafts specialists or head to the library for a game of bridge or read a good book in the library.
Arts and crafts sessions led by specialists are available on voyages of five nights or more and offer hours of fun. Guests can get creative with a number of classes, including bead jewellery making, decorative card art, mosaic decoration and more. Alternatively, guests can attend lectures by passionate speakers who are experts on their subjects and deliver their talks with great knowledge and enthusiasm. In the evening, guests will be presented with a high standard of varied entertainment, including guest acts, cabaret groups and classical interludes. For those looking to soak up the talents of the on board entertainment team, head over to the show lounge and be dazzled by the quality of performances showcased. Alternatively, be soothed by the resident pianist and violinist, while sipping on one of the finest beverages on the menu. For those with music in their bones, the on board DJ plays hits throughout the evening, allowing guests to get lost in the music and dance the night away.
Experience Dining with a Difference
An important part of any cruise holiday is the food and on a Cruise & Maritime voyage there’s plenty to get those taste buds tingling. From moreish breakfasts to toothsome treats, every meal is a memorable experience. In the evening guests can head to the elegant main restaurant to indulge in five fantastic courses. Offering a variety of sumptuous pickings, freshly prepared by expert chefs, every detail of the menu has been carefully thought out in order to delight the senses. Guests can choose to taste the blends of traditional dishes such as wholesome roasts or indulge in one of the mouth-watering international specialities. Casual buffet dining is also available, offering luscious delights in a less formal setting.

The World is Waiting...
From the Baltic cities to the Norwegian Fjords, and even their very own river collection (cruising the likes of the Rhine, Danube and Rhone), Cruise & Maritime Voyages have a comprehensive selection of fascinating itineraries just waiting to be discovered. Itineraries vary in duration, from three-night mini cruises to an around the world cruise. Ports of call on each itinerary have been carefully selected and will offer guests the chance to explore as much or as little as they please. Guests looking to gain the most out of each destination can enhance their experience with Cruise & Maritime’s ‘Discover & Explore’ programme, offering a wide choice of optional shore excursions (at a supplement). We recommend passengers pre-register with Cruise & Maritime for their chosen tours to avoid disappointment – tours will be available two months prior to embarkation.
Over the years Cruise & Maritime Voyages has discovered a large amount of their business is from returning customers and therefore have introduced ‘Columbus Club’ to reward their loyalty. Columbus Club is made up of four tiers: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Tiers are based on the number of nights a passenger has spent on board and benefits vary depending on their tier status. Guests can receive a number of rewards, priority news, discounts and much more. Guests will automatically be enrolled into Columbus on Silver status and will receive a membership card, lapel badge and nautical log book. What’s more, when booking a Cruise & Maritime Voyage with ROL Cruise, not only will you gain Columbus Club points but you will receive exclusive Cruise Miles worth £££s off your next cruise booking with us.
Cruise & Maritime Voyages is the perfect cruise line for those that are looking for a no-fly cruise holiday that offers a traditional experience with enriching insights ashore and on board the ship.
