This sporty, boutique-style yacht is a 62-passenger ship that exudes exclusivity and magnificence. The Esprit manages to perfectly combine elegance with adventure, thanks to the grace of the ship itself and array of exciting, intensive onshore experiences.
Crystal Esprit is simply one the most luxurious adventure cruises currently operating. Following its debut in 2015, the emphasis is on experiencing as many of the exhilarating onshore excursions as possible. With activities ranging from snorkelling and kayaking, to hiking and cycling, this is quite clearly a recreation-led ship. With a 62-passenger capacity, it is also highly sociable, with regular opportunities to interact with your fellow guests.
The Esprit is equipped with an array of lavish, resplendent suites, all fitted with king-size beds and beautifully presented marble bathrooms. The lighting has been carefully considered, with a range of table lamps and spotlights enhancing an already bright and airy interior. There is ample storage space and the delightful inclusion of complimentary bathrobes, slippers and umbrellas. The smallest suites on-board are the Standard Category 4, yet still at a sizeable 223 square feet. These are an exclusive option – just two available - providing a more intimate and personal travelling experience. The Standard Suite Categories 1-3 are largely identical, and all are highly spacious at 280 square feet. There is a single, resplendent Owner's Suite option as well. This is double the size of a standard suite, and features a stylish grey and white colour scheme. It comes with an expansive living space that presents a couch, a pair of armchairs, a desk with marble top and a dining table suitable for four. The bedroom is similarly equipped with a king-size bed and the master bathroom - the biggest and most decadent on-board - features a fabulous egg-shaped bath and stand-alone shower.
Cuisine aboard the Esprit is a dazzling and inventive combination of classic continental dishes and exotic, flavour-packed delights. Despite only holding 62 passengers, the Esprit offers four exceptional dining options that are available throughout the day and serve a plethora of exciting, sumptuous feasts. The Yacht Club Restaurant is one of the few open-kitchen eating establishments at sea; a highly elegant and hospitable spot. The menu changes daily and consists of either a four or five course extravaganza. You can mix and match across all menus provided, to create your perfect dining experience every time. The food is often regional to your itinerary and always delicious. Alternatives include The Pantry, serving sandwiches and pastries throughout the day, as well as beer, wine and chilled beverages. The Patio is another casual setting, offering made-to- order dishes for both breakfast and lunch that are outstandingly fresh and vibrant. Last but not least, there is the Sunset Grill, serving delicious sandwiches, burgers and steaks that have all been given that delicious, mouth-watering char.
After a long day’s activities exploring and enjoying your excursions, the Esprit offers the perfect setting to relax and unwind. Nights are filled with live music in The Cove, a drink at one of several bars on-board and the chance to socialise and get to know your fellow guests. Films are occasionally played on the Sun Deck and there is a casino on-board for fully chartered trips. The expansive sun deck offers a small plunge pool, with wonderful Balinese beds, basket chairs and sun loungers all wrapped around the deck.
If you are looking for a good workout to compliment a hard days exploration, look no further than the Fitness Centre; a compact but well-stocked gym that offers a stationary bicycle, treadmill and free weights. For something a little more sociable, there are also Yoga and Pilates classes which take place on the sun deck. To relax post-workout, why not take advantage of the on-board massage therapist and treat yourself to some pampering?
On-board Personal Submersible Mounted to the rear of the Crystal Esprit is a state-of- the-art, deep-sea submersible. This incredible addition allows guests to explore the pulsating underwater sea life, in an expedition lead by the ship’s master navigator. If you are looking for a truly unique experience, then this is it. Shore Excursions Activities off-shore with the Esprit can be highly active, including snorkelling, hiking, swimming and scuba diving. There are also a number of tours available when you reach your destination - some complimentary, others offering a more immersive experience for an additional fee. Tours can range from ornithological treks to see the local birdlife, to trips to botanical gardens. You will always be accompanied by a highly knowledgeable and accommodating local guide, who will fill you in on every detail along the way. Enrichment The Esprit is led by four highly knowledgeable destination leaders, all of whom offer daily informational briefs about the location you are visiting. These half-hour talks are both informative and interesting, helping to frame your visit and broaden your understanding.
