Twin sister to the Crystal Bach, the Crystal Mahler will become one of five ships in Crystal’s River Cruise fleet when it launches in the summer of 2017. The epitome of a Crystal experience, it will unquestionably offer the magnificent aesthetic and perceptive service of its counterparts.
Designed and built to comfortably accommodate up to 110 passengers, the Mahler will consist of four inspired and distinctive decks; Vista, Crystal, Seahorse and Harmony. Its length and attention to detail allows this river cruiser to feel spacious, yet with a charming intimacy. With 68 crew members aboard, the ratio is well in favour of the passengers to ensure a remarkable, luxurious getaway.
The Crystal Mahler cabins will range generously from 220 to 750 square feet and will be fitted and decorated with Crystal’s renowned style and splendour. Two-bedroom Crystal Suites are fitted with king-size beds dressed in fine Egyptian cotton. These beds face the panoramic balcony-window, for the most magnificent morning and evening views. With an integrated fireplace and Nespresso coffee machine, guests are well equipped for every type of weather. Both the River Suite Deluxe and Petite Suites offer the same stunning viewpoint and sumptuous amenities as the Crystal, but as a single bedroom option.
The Bistro café offers lighter meals and beverages, for a relaxing, informal afternoon’s eating. The Vintage room offers intimate dining to share with a loved one, with local themes that have an emphasis on regional wines. The main dining area, the Waterside Restaurant, is a modern, yet graceful space that combines open-seated, sit-down evening meals with more versatile buffet options throughout the day.
The indoor pool has a retractable roof for full sunlight exposure during hotter journeys. There is also the option of visiting the TechnoGym or Yoga Centre, so that throughout your journey you are able to keep up, or even start, a dedicated fitness regime. Once you complete your workout, why not enjoy a pampering session at the spa, with health and beauty professionals giving you that extra special treatment.
Aboard the Mahler, guests will be able to relax within the glass-domed hub of the Palm Court and enjoy a book from the ship’s library. Excursions offered will include cultural immersion and active tours. The ship carries kayaks and personal watercrafts, as well as electric bikes that are available for all passengers to use.
