Your 5★ Luxury African Adventure Awaits....

Chobe National Park

The Chobe National Park covers 10,566 square kilometres, and has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent. Its uniqueness in the abundance of wildlife and the true African nature of the region offers the safari experience of a lifetime. The park is divided into four distinctly different ecosystems: Serondela with its lush plains and dense forests in the Chobe River area in the extreme north-east; the Savuti Marsh in the west; the Linyanti Swamps in the northwest and the hot dry hinterland in between.

Two Night stay at the Chobe Game Lodge

Chobe Game Lodge; is Botswana’s most exclusive safari resort, situated in the remote and unspoilt northern extremity of the park. The architecture is moorish and graceful high arches, barrel-vault ceilings and tiled floors create an atmosphere of spaciousness and tranquillity. All 45 rooms are tastefully furnished and cooled by overhead punkahpunkah fans. For the connoisseur of luxury, there are four private suites, each with individual swimming pools and outside garden patio. All rooms overlook the perennial Chobe River and adjacent Caprivi floodplain. Facilities within the lodge include a well-stocked curio shop, wildlife reference library and stylishly decorated Linyanti bar and lounge area.

Two Night stay at the Victoria Falls Hotel

The spectacular Victoria Falls, known locally as the ‘smoke that thunders’, were ‘discovered’ and named by David Livingstone in 1855. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the falls’ thundering water leaps over the edge of the gorge into a transverse chasm of black basalt rock nearly 108 metres below, sending up great clouds of mist that drift gently down to water the luxuriant rain forest. Although not the widest or tallest waterfalls, Victoria Falls forms the largest falling sheet of water in the world with approximately half a million tons of water pouring over every minute, generating a spray cloud that can rise to 500 metres above the falls.

With dramatic views of the gorges of Zimbabwe’s spectacular Victoria Falls, the Victoria Falls Hotel, built by the British in 1904, was originally conceived as accommodation for workers on the Cape-to-Cairo railway, today however, it is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Serene lily ponds, arched loggias and broad verandas – offering magnificent vistas - seem custom-built for a spot of high tea or a relaxed gin and tonic. Echoing its glorious pedigree, the Victoria Falls Hotel features 161 rooms and suites - truly a 5★ experience of pure grandeur. Style, glamour and sophistication are hallmarks of the Victoria Falls Hotel experience and serves as a reminder of the distinguished and elegant era to which it was born.
