Your Expedition Voyage Highlights

Follow in the footsteps of Magellan, Drake and Darwin when you embark on this exclusive expedition…

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Buenos Aires fascinates and entertains sightseeing visitors, both for its chaotic energy and for its sheer urban beauty. Any list of things to do in Buenos Aires would begin with its many walkable neighborhoods; Palermo especially stands out, thanks to creative residents. Looking beyond the city’s sights, Buenos Aires is also world-renowned as the birthplace of Tango. What’s more, all bookings will enjoy an exclusive free city tour

Cape Horn

Cape Horn is widely considered the most southerly point of South America, and marks the northern boundary of the Drake Passage; for centuries it has been regarded as a major milestone by which sailing ships carrying trade goods around the world marked their passage. Magellan and Drake left their mark and names here, as did Darwin, who sailed through here on the HMS Beagle.

Falkland Islands

As one of the greatest wilderness destinations in the world, the Falkland Islands are the ultimate birding experiences and are home to majestic King, feisty Rockhopper, raucous Gentoo and shy Magellanic penguins as well as over 70% of the world’s Black-browed albatross! Charles Darwin visited the islands twice, and Stanley is proud of its British heritage, evidenced everywhere from its red telephone boxes to its pubs.

Chilean Fjords

Lined with rugged mountains and glacier-covered valleys, the Chilean Fjords are unlike any other ord system in the world. Home to many of Chile’s national parks, early Spanish explorers came here in search of the mythical City of the Caesars, believed to be rich in gold and diamonds. Riches to be found today are the Fjords’ dramatic landscape and the unusual wildlife of Patagonia. Whales, dolphins and elephant seals are a common sight when traversing these stunning fjords.
