Yes. At ROL Cruise, we look after your holiday as if it were our own and can happily assure you that your holiday is fully protected. Our ABTA membership protects all package and tailormade holidays booked through ROL Cruise and our ATOL license protects all package and tailormade holidays where flights are involved. This ensures that you will not lose money or be without a flight home should the tour operator go out of business.
Your final balance due date is shown on your ROL Cruise booking confirmation paperwork. We will need to collect your final payment in advance of your travel date to allow us time to process and forward this to our cruise line partners and other holiday suppliers as agreed at the time of booking. These timescales allow us to receive, and process, your payment in accordance with our agreement with your cruise line and other suppliers.

The form asks you to fill in details of your travel insurance provider, policy number, medical assistance provider and telephone number. The medical assistance number is the number you would use to contact your insurance company in the event of medical assistance being required whilst you are on holiday. A number of operators have introduced e-tickets which allow clients to access and print their own travel documentation online. However, at ROL Cruise, we do this for you so you don’t have to do any of the work. If you receive an email from your cruise line telling you that your tickets are ready for you to print, simply leave this for us to take care of.
Depending on your cruise itinerary and ports of call, you may require a vaccination. As regulations can and do change frequently, we advise you to contact your local GP or the National Health Service at least 12 weeks prior to travel to discuss your personal healthcare requirements. UK passport holders must have a passport that is less than 10 years old on the day of departure and must have at least 6 months remaining on the day of return. In accordance with legislation, only alcohol purchased onboard can be consumed onboard and any purchases of alcohol made whilst ashore will be securely stored by the ship crew until the end of your cruise. There is no limit on Duty-Free goods when you’re returning to the UK from an EU country so long as it's for your own personal use.

You can update your passport details online via My ROL. Once logged in to your account, select Manage Booking on the cruise you want to add your passport details to. Once you have done this, click on Passengers in the top navigation. Here, you’ll see details for all relevant passengers. Your passport details can be updated by clicking on the middle icon, Passport Information. Please enter the relevant fields and click Submit.
If you have entered your passport details and been notified that your passport has more than 10 years of validity, this means your passport may not be accepted by some countries. For example, if your passport was issued in January 2017 and expires in May 2017, it has 10 years + 4 months of validity.

Unless stated otherwise, the ship will be in port for a full day which may be a minimum of 7½ hours and a maximum of 11 hours. In some cases, you may spend half a day in port which will usually be a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 7 hours. Times will vary according to the cruise and port.
Europe and Russia sailings: The European standard 220 volts with a 110v outlet in every stateroom and suite. ROL Cruise recommends taking an adapter plug with you.

As you may expect, the main difference between a standard cabin and a balcony stateroom is the added luxury of your own private balcony from which you can enjoy ocean views.
